Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysore in association with Fujifilms conducts a 2 days International Gastro Conference called the GI ( Gastro Intestinal ) – UPDATE 2018 – This event was held for the first time in the city of Mysuru on 6th & 7th of October 2018 & His Highness Maharaja Yaduveer Krishnadatta Wadayar inaugurated the event. This conference was organized to talk about evolving technology and future of Endoscopy. Also included hands on training.

GI UPDATE Fujifilm announced the installation of the state of the art ELUXEO 7000 series at Apollo BGS Hospital, Mysore. The ELUXEO 7000 Endoscopy system is the first of its own kind system in area of flexible endoscopy loaded with 4 different color LED lights (Blu, Blue violet, green & red). The machine takes short/narrow wave length light to get micro surface pattern, BLI (Blue Light Imaging) & LCI (Linked Color Imaging) features which are unmatched and which allow clinician to obtain very high-resolution images to help detect the growth very early. This is useful for all types of Gastro cancers including stomach cancer and colon cancers. The ELUXEO 7000* was recently awarded the red dot design award as well.
