Dr. Kushan completed his MBBS from Madras Medical College in 2013. He did his MD Medicine from Sawai Mansingh Medical College, Jaipur.

He completed DrNB gastroenterology from Apollo hospitals, Chennai in 2021. In 2022 he did fellowship in transplant hepatology from Dr. Rela Institute, Chennai. The fellowship is accredited by Liver Transplant Society of India. He specialises in treatment of liver diseases, pancreatico biliary diseases and interventional endoscopies.
