Dr. Gowtham joined Apollo BGS Hospitals in 2021 and has been an integral part of the expert Cardiologists Team at Apollo Heart Institute.
He has to his credit of performing more than 500 coronary angioplasties with high success rates. Known for his skills and straightforward approach he has assisted in complex coronary interventions involving Rotablation, IVL, Image guided PCI procedures at Apollo.
Apart from his clinical practice he regularly participates in talks at various Corporates and has authored several columns in Newspapers and contributed articles in spreading awareness about MI, Cardiovascular diseases and overcoming them.
- 3 years post-graduate training in clinical cardiology, ICCU management and non-invasive cardiology (including cardiac imaging) at one of the largest cardiac care destinations in Southeast Asia
- Worked incardiac subspecialties including Paediatric Cardiology and Electrophysiology
- Competent in independently performing diagnostic coronary angiogram
- Performed more than 500 coronary angioplasties as primary operator.
- Has performed and assisted in complex coronary intervention involving Rotablation, IVL, Imaging guided PCI.
- OCT, image guided PCI, precision PCI.
- Structural heart disease interventions involving TAVI, TEVAR.
- Primary PCI.
